Javier Martinez, (Madrid, 1985) received his degree "Telecommunication Engeneering" in 2010 from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and his Master's degree in 2013 from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. From 2011-2015 he worked at Indra Sistemas under several R&D projects for radar and communication systems focusing in areas like array signal processing and array design. In September 2015, he joined the Institute of Microwaves and Photonics (LHFT), Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU).
