Randolf Ebelt was born in Oranienburg, Germany in 1983. He received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Clausthal, Germany in 2009. Since 2011 he is with the Institute of Microwaves and Photonics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Erlangen, Germany where he received his Ph.D. degree in 2014. His main research interests are sensor networks with distributed, high precision localization capabilities and sensor fusion algorithms.
